Mattes Equestrian are one of the few companies able to process from raw sheepskins to the finished product. We offer you their flagship 'Platinum' range of top quality genuine sheepskin and also a selection of their high-quality British knitted wool 'Silver' range.

Their real sheepskin products cannot be imitated by knitted wool or fleece products. There is almost no chemical treatment of the wool. The properties of real sheepskin are endless; the extremely dense nature of the wool provides ideal pressure distribution, allows air flow and is provides high sweat absorbtion. All Platinum range products come with top of the range double sided quilt. We hold some items in stock, but please allow around 2 weeks for most orders.

Griffin Nuumed

Griffin Nuu Med is one of the UK's leading numnah designers and manufacturers of top quality numnahs, pads, seat savers and accessories. Many of the products use British Wool. This wool is simply the very best fabric to have next to your horse's skin.It does not allow significant heat build up, absorbs up to 40% of its own weight in moisture before it even feels damp, is unlikely to cause skin reactions or rubbing and is hard wearing and easy to keep clean.
The high wither design is a huge success and has given comfort to many horses. They are also cut to complement the saddle with various sizes, colours and shapes for different disciplines. It is little wonder they are recomended by leading names in the equestrian world such as Carl Hester.

Please note that in the dressage cut the numnahs and saddlecloths are only available in black, white and brown. Other colours can be made up to special order for an extra charge of £10.
